Introducing GPT-4o and more tools to ChatGPT free users | OpenAI
OpenAI has unveiled ChatGPT-4o, an upgraded variant of its ChatGPT-4 model, designed to provide faster and more capable text, vision, and audio processing. This new model was announced by OpenAI CTO Mira Murati during a livestream event on May 13. At the event, Murati highlighted that ChatGPT-4o offers improved performance and will be available to all users at no cost.
Apple nears deal with OpenAI to put ChatGPT on iPhone: Report
Apple Inc has closed in on an agreement with OpenAI to use the startup’s technology on the iPhone, part of a broader push to bring artificial intelligence features to its devices, Bloomberg reported citing people familiar with the matter. The two sides have been finalising terms for a pact to use ChatGPT features in Apple’s iOS 18, the next iPhone operating system, the report added.
Microsoft testing customisable floating widgets in Windows 11 Start
Microsoft is reportedly testing floating widgets in the Windows 11 Start Menu. The feature is currently available in the latest test build. The Windows 11 Start Menu has gone through several changes in the last couple of months, with Microsoft recently receiving backlash from users after it started showing ads inside the Start menu.
Hanooman AI launched in India with ability to understand 98 languages
3AI Holding Limited and SML India have announced the launch of 'Hanooman', a multilingual GenAI platform in 98 global languages, including 12 Indian languages. The new AI is available to all users and you can register for the same using your phone number. The new AI tool is currently limited to creating text responses.
Microsoft Copilot AI Chatbot to Get New Features
Microsoft will soon introduce new artificial intelligence (AI) features that will help users who struggle with writing prompts or getting the desired result from its Copilot chatbot in one go. On Wednesday, the tech giant announced that it is working on several new features all designed to assist in improving Copilot results. These features include auto-complete, rewrite, and catch-up. Additionally, it is also working on a Copilot Lab feature that will help organisations get tailor-made prompts for their specific work needs
